Another year is coming to an end and it certainly went by in the blink of an eye! At the end of every Decemeber, I like to reflect on both my accomplishments and adventures from the past year. It’s also important to address short-comings too as it determines what still needs to be improved. Brian and I have been reminiscing for the past week and I’ve created a 2015 year in review graphic for us to always look back on that’ll hopefully inspire you too!

2015 seems to have been the year we fully embraced all things entertainment. Not only did we read a combined total of 52 books and see special anniversary screenings of Jaws and Home Alone, we also started three TV series and watched every episode that has aired to date. Some may say that’s a waste of time, we say it’s pretty impressive.

When we weren’t immersed in Netflix or shoveling 63 inches of snow, we did manage to get out and enjoy ourselves. Over the Summer we took out first “vacation” together and stayed in Boston for the 4th of July. While there we caught a Red Sox game and watched fireworks over Fenway Park. In the Fall, we stopped by the Scituate Art Festival, went apple picking for the first time, and carved pumpkins.

At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what we did or didn’t do, where we worked, and how lazy we were. This year, we got engaged and that will always be the one thing we remember about 2015. Did creating a year in review help us realize certain parts of our lives that need to be worked on? Absolutely. Celebrate the better parts of your year and leave the negative in the past as we ring in 2016. Happy new year!
